DaeSean Hamilton Likely To See A Bigger Role In Week 17
4 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver DaeSean Hamilton surprisingly led the team in receiving in their Week 16 loss to the division-rival Chargers, catching a season-high five passes on a season-high nine targets for 77 yards. It was likely attributed to the fact that rookie wideout K.J. Hamler left the game early with a concussion and never returned. Hamler didn't practice on Wednesday and will likely be held out as a precaution in the meaningless season finale this Sunday, paving the way for Hamilton to work in three-receiver sets next to rookie Jerry Jeudy and Tim Patrick. While you shouldn't expect a repeat of Week 16 or start him in fantasy lineups, Hamilton should have extra opportunities to improve on his 21-275-2 line in 15 games for Denver this season in a Week 17 matchup with the Raiders.
