DaeSean Hamilton Leads Broncos In Receiving In Week 16
4 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver DaeSean Hamilton surprisingly led the team in receiving in the 19-16 Week 16 loss to the division-rival Chargers. Hamilton had five catches on nine targets for 77 yards in the contest. His nine targets were tied for second-most on the team with tight end Noah Fant. The nine targets were also a season-high and were the result of rookie K.J. Hamler (head) leaving the game early to be evaluated for a concussion. Hamler never returned in the game. The 25-year-old had four catches for a season-high 82 yards and one of his two touchdowns back in Week 8 against the Chargers, so Hamilton really enjoyed facing LA this year. He'll have some more upside in Week 17 against the Raiders if Hamler isn't cleared, but Hamilton would still be a desperation flex option in Denver's inconsistent offense.
