D.J. Chark Jr. Carted Off With Leg Injury Thursday
4 years agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver D.J. Chark Jr. (leg) was carted off the field in significant pain on Thursday night after a player rolled up on the back of his leg. The injury happened on the Jaguars first drive of the game. Anytime a player is carted off the field, it's usually a long-term injury, but we'll have to wait and see what the extent of the injury is. Heading into the game against Cincy, Chark was second on the team in targets (22) behind Marvin Jones Jr. The bad news is he has just seven receptions for 154 yards and two touchdowns. If Chark is forced to miss extensive time, second-year receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. would be the primary beneficiary in Jacksonville's offense. Shenault is already owned in 57 percent of Yahoo Leagues, but that ownership level would rise even more should Chark miss multiple games, which seems likely.

D.J. Chark Scores A Touchdown In Week 18
3 months agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver D.J. Chark scored a touchdown in a Week 18 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Chark was targeted three times, making his only catch for a six-yard touchdown at the end of the second quarter. It was Chark's only touchdown of the season, as he ended up making just four catches this season. He missed some time due to injury, but even when healthy he was unable to move up the Chargers wide receiver depth chart. He likely won't be a factor when the playoffs start for the Bolts on Saturday against the Houston Texans.

Chargers Have No Plans To Get DJ Chark Involved
4 months agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver DJ Chark has been active for just two games this season, and he has not recorded a target. The former 1,000-yard receiver has reportedly struggled to make an impact with his fourth NFL team and is unlikely to see an upgrade in his role down the stretch. "Some guys are playing better than him," head coach Jim Harbaugh said. "It's a meritocracy out there." Chark was a second-round pick by the Jaguars in 2018 and has recorded at least 500 yards in each season of his career in which he played at least five games. However, any deep-league fantasy managers holding onto him can let him go, though he might be worth holding in dynasty setups since he will be a 28-year-old free agent this offseason.

DJ Chark Active For Week 13
4 months agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver DJ Chark is officially active for Week 13 against the Atlanta Falcons. This is noteworthy given that Chark missed the early portion of the season due to a hip injury and has been a healthy scratch on numerous occasions since being activated from injured reserve. In fact, he has only been on the field for one offensive snap this season and has failed to log a target. Moving forward, he remains buried behind Ladd McConkey, Josh Palmer, Quentin Johnston, and Jalen Reagor on the depth chart.

DJ Chark, Hayden Hurst Healthy Scratches For Sunday Night
5 months agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver DJ Chark and tight end Hayden Hurst won't play in Sunday night's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Both players are healthy. However, with receivers Joshua Palmer, Quentin Johnston, Ladd McConkey, and tight end Will Dissly all active, the move was made to give Hurst and Chark the night off. But considering Hurst has only seven catches and Chark doesn't have any this season, their absences won't have much of an impact on fantasy managers.
