Cristopher Sanchez Tosses Seven Solid Innings on Saturday
Cristopher Sanchez looked good on Saturday, holding the Toronto Blue Jays to just two runs over seven frames in a 3-2 win. Sanchez scattered five hits, walked none, and struck out five. Unfortunately for the lefty, he left the game an inning before the Phillies took the lead, so he took a tough-luck no-decision. Sanchez has been terrific in June, allowing just five runs over 20 IP (2.25 ERA). He now owns a 5-2 record, 3.05 ERA, 1.24 WHIP, and 88 strikeouts in 79 ⅔ IP. The WHIP is a little high, but everything else looks great for the 28-year-old. He has earned must-start status in fantasy. Sanchez's next start should come next Thursday in a tasty matchup on the road against the Miami Marlins.
