The Dallas Cowboys took Tulsa offensive tackle Tyler Smith with the 24th overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft on Thursday night. The Cowboys had one of the best offensive lines in all of football several years ago, but that's no longer the case, and Dallas really needed to address the position, so this pick makes perfect sense. The 21-year-old may not be great right away in the NFL, but he does have plenty of upside at both tackle and guard, which will give the Cowboys some flexibility. Smith stands at an imposing 6-foot-5, 324 pounds, and he had a 5.02-second 40-yard dash at the combine back in February. It's more likely that Smith is starting at a guard spot in the NFL initially.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
