1 year agoA very hit-or-miss season continues for Corey Conners as he comes into the Scottish Open just outside the top-25 in the FedEx Cup standings. Conners has three top-20 finishes in his last five starts on tour, however he has missed the other two cuts in that stretch. This week, Conners could be a solid sleeper option due to his play on approach. Approach is always a key stat when it comes to links golf, and Conners is one of the best approach players on tour. Conners sits fifth on tour in greens in regulation percentage, 11th in strokes gained on approach, and 23rd in proximity to the hole.
