Corey Brewer Scores 16 Points In Start
7 years agoOklahoma City Thunder shooting guard Corey Brewer got his third straight start on Monday night against the Sacramento Kings and did not disappoint. He scored 16 points on 4-for-8 shooting and hit all seven of his free-throw attempts. Brewer also contributed in other areas with six rebounds, two steals, one three, one assist and one block. Since getting put into the starting lineup, Brewer has been solid. In his three starts, he's averaging 15.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.7 three-pointers and 1.3 steals per game. It should be noted that two of those games came against bottom feeders like the Phoenix Suns and the Kings, so these numbers should be taken with a grain of salt. However, if Brewer continues to play well in their upcoming games, then he can be considered fantasy viable. His next game is against the Atlanta Hawks, who are a bottom-10 defense, so Brewer might be set up for another good game.
