Forward Conor Garland is on the way from the Arizona Coyotes to the Vancouver Canucks as part of a multi-player deal announced on Friday. The deal also saw defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson head north of the border. Garland, 25, is a breakout candidate as he moves to a team with a little more offensive power. In his third NHL season, the former fifth-round pick scored 12 goals and recorded 39 total points in just 49 games. Garland also had solid possession numbers. He has a good chance at landing on the second line in Vancouver along with Nils Hoglander and Bo Horvat. Garland won't be a top fantasy target in 2021-22 but he is an intriguing second-tier player in redraft leagues. He's currently a restricted free agent and due for a noticeable increase in salary.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
