Chicago Blackhawks center Connor Bedard (jaw) has resumed light skating. The young phenom suffered a broken jaw on a hit from New Jersey Devils defenseman Brendan Smith in a game on Jan. 5 and was given a six-to-eight-week timeline to return after undergoing surgery. The 2023 No. 1 overall pick hasn't disappointed in his rookie season as he has collected 15 goals and 33 points across his first 37 NHL games, a quality feat considering the Blackhawks rank 31st with just 2.26 goals per game on the season. He only has recorded one assist over his last five games but also took just four shifts before being injured his last time out. He remains an elite dynasty league option but continues to hold value in redraft leagues despite his current absence.--Brenton Kemp
