Connor Bedard Lifts Chicago Past Winnipeg
12 months agoChicago Blackhawks center Connor Bedard scored both goals as the team defeated Winnipeg 2-1 in overtime on Wednesday. The rookie phenom had his third career multi-goal outing, netting the first goal of the game 15:57 into the first period and ending the contest with 2:15 played in overtime. Bedard became the third-youngest player ever to score an overtime goal in a regular-season game. The 18-year-old has hit some great form lately, with a five-game scoring streak and a run of four multi-point efforts in eight games. It's helped him to become the 17th player in the league this season to amass at least 15 goals and assists. He's on 32 points overall with 34 games played.
