Cole Kmet Scores, Has Season-High Five Receptions
4 years agoChicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet caught a career-high five passes for 37 yards and one touchdown in the Bears 34-30 loss to the Lions in Week 13. The rookie's seven targets was, by far, the highest total of his young career and made some nice plays in a rejuvenated passing game. Kmet's best play came when he slipped free on a roll-out for an excellent 11-yard catch-and--score. The rookie has been non-existent most of this season but his involvement in the offense could be trending upwards moving forward. Kmet will need, however, at least one more week of high-volume targets before he pops up as a consideration on the waiver wire.
