Cole Beasley Continues To Be Monitored
3 years agoBuffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley (ribs) missed practice on Wednesday while he continues to deal with a painful rib injury that limited him to a season-low nine total offensive snaps in the easy win over the New York Jets in Week 10. Before that in Week 9, the veteran slot man barely saw the field in the second half after injuring his ribs. Beasley caught both of his targets for 15 yards last Sunday and is clearly hurting. He will likely continue to play through the injury, but Isaiah McKenzie could see more reps out of the slot for Buffalo until Beasley can get past the issue. Beasley is one of quarterback Josh Allen's most trusted targets, especially on third downs, but he'll be a risky WR3/flex heading into this weekend's game against the Indianapolis Colts.
