Cody Ford Out For The Season
4 years agoBuffalo Bills offensive lineman Cody Ford (knee) is out for the rest of the season, according to head coach Sean McDermott. Ford suffered a torn meniscus in practice earlier this week and is set for surgery that will take three to four months of rehab, according to a source. He should make a full recovery and be ready for next season, but this is a big blow to Buffalo's offensive line. It's certainly bad news for a Bills rushing attack that has average just 97.6 rushing yards per game so far this season. Quarterback Josh Allen is having an MVP-type season in 2020, but the loss of Ford could put more pressure on him to step up and make big plays. The 23-year-old Ford was a second-round pick out of Oklahoma in 2019.
