The New York Jets believe safety Chuck Clark (knee) has suffered a serious knee injury, according to team and league sources. The Jets are waiting on an official ruling while Clark seeks a second opinion. With the possibility of Clark missing all of the 2023 season, the Jets signed former Green Bay Packers safety Adrian Amos on Tuesday, and he could settle into a big role this year if Clark is out. Clark was expected to start alongside Jordan Whitehead this offseason and was playing alongside him in recent practices. Now, Amos is expected to step in as the starter in New York's secondary after spending the last four years with the Packers. The Jets viewed Clark as an upgrade over Lamarcus Joyner, who they let walk in the offseason, so this injury is a big blow to their safety ranks heading into training camp.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
