Chuba Hubbard Ruled Out For Week 9
2 years agoCarolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard (ankle) has officially been ruled out of the Week 9 game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. Hubbard sprained his ankle in Week 7 and will now miss his second straight game, despite the injury initially appearing to be minor in nature. With Hubbard out last week, D'Onta Foreman got the start and handled a healthy 26 carries for 118 yards and scored three times on the ground against Atlanta in the overtime loss. Foreman also had 118 carries on 15 carries the week prior, so it's fair to say he'll be the backfield workhorse against Cincinnati on Sunday. Fantasy managers should lock him into their starting fantasy lineups as a solid RB2 choice this weekend.
