Chris Taylor's Postseason Status Uncertain
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers infielder/outfielder Chris Taylor (neck) is dealing with a really stiff neck, and there's a decent chance he won't play in the final three regular season games against the Colorado Rockies this week, according to skipper Dave Roberts. Taylor can still see live pitching in simulated games, but his status for the postseason is uncertain after he received a cortisone injection. For now, the 32-year-old utility man will be day-to-day, and he still has a week to recover before the start of the National League Division Series. Taylor has hit just .221/.304/.373 this year with 10 home runs, 43 RBI, 45 runs scored and 10 stolen bases in 402 at-bats. As a first-time All-Star in 2021, he hit .254 with 20 homers, 73 RBI and 13 steals in 148 regular season games.
