Texas Rangers shortstop prospect Chris Seise underwent shoulder surgery this week, ruling him out for the year. Seise was the 29th overall pick last year and was looking to continue a strong winter. In the Arizona Fall League, Seise hit three home runs with five steals while hitting .336 in 139 plate appearances. In dynasty leagues, Seise is a young prospect who has now flashed some power and speed potential. However, shoulder surgery could dent some of that upside going forward.--Ben Rolfe
