New York Rangers winger Chris Kreider scored twice in Saturday's 5-1 win over Ottawa to reach 49 goals for the season. He put five shots in total on the net and also registered two hits in 15:18 of ice time. Kreider is now tied with Mike Gartner for the fourth-most goals scored in a single season. He needs four more markers to match Jaromir Jagr's franchise record from 2005-06. It's been a massive year for the 30-year-old with 70 points in 73 games. The Rangers' schedule for the rest of the season doesn't look too great, but Kreider will get two very favorable matchups against Philadelphia and Detroit next week to move closer to Jagr's record.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
