Seattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson (neck) didn't practice again on Wednesday, and the Seahawks aren't expected to decide his status until right before the Thursday night game against the Los Angeles Rams. On a short week coming off a game where Carson wasn't very effective, it wouldn't be a huge surprise to see the Seahawks rest him. Alex Collins saw three fewer carries than Carson on Sunday, but he was much more efficient with his touches and scored a touchdown on 44 yards rushing. If Carson were to sit out, Collins would be the preferred back of choice on early downs, while Travis Homer and DeeJay Dallas could split work in passing situations. Those that roster Carson need to have a backup plan in place in case he's ruled inactive.--Keith Hernandez
