3 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson (neck) has been officially ruled out for the Thursday night game against the division-rival Los Angeles Rams in Week 5. Carson popped up on the injury report on Tuesday and didn't practice the last two days. Heading into a short week, it's not a huge surprise that Carson is out. There were reports floating around earlier Wednesday that his neck injury might be a chronic, long-term issue, but it's not expected to be a long-term concern now. While fantasy managers will have to remove Carson from starting lineups this week, he might not miss more than this one game. Alex Collins will have some RB3/flex upside in deeper setups against LA as the likely first option on early downs for Seattle. Travis Homer and DeeJay Dallas could split the change-of-pace duties.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
