The Kansas City Chiefs cut defensive tackle Byron Cowart on Wednesday. Cowart agreed to an undisclosed one-year deal with the Chiefs in March, but he won't even make it to training camp with the team before going back on the open market. Cowart was originally a fifth-round selection in 2019 by the New England Patriots out of Maryland. He spent the first two seasons of his career with the Patriots before playing in 17 games (zero starts) for the Indianapolis Colts last year. The 26-year-old finished 2022 with only 12 tackles (four solo) with the Colts. Cowart will now look to latch on with another organization for the 2023 campaign.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
