The Kansas City Chiefs agreed to terms with free-agent safety Tyrann Mathieu (Texans) on a three-year, $42 million contract, a source said Monday. The Chiefs landed their top target off of the free-agent market. The Honey Badger gives the Chiefs some help against the pass, an area they were sorely lacking in 2018. Kansas City ranked a dismal 31st against the pass, allowing 273.4 yards per game through the air with 30 passing touchdowns and 65 pass plays of 20 or more yards. If the Chiefs are going to be a legit championship contender they need to be better on defense. Mathieu's addition is a start, but the Chiefs DST is still a shaky fantasy option.--Daniel DobishRead More News
