Charlie Blackmon Sits Out Second Game Of Twin Bill Thursday
Charlie Blackmon won't play in the second half of Thursday's doubleheader against the New York Mets. In the first half of the twin bill, Blackmon went 0-for-3 while batting in the cleanup spot and playing left field. Through his first 151 at-bats of the season, Blackmon currently sports a .686 OPS, which would be his worst output over a full year since his rookie season in 2011 when he only had 98 at-bats in 27 games. Better days should be coming as his .300 xBA and .448 xSLG are much better than his actual output. It could be a good time to make an offer for the lefty swinger.
