Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Charles Omenihu (knee), who was set to line up across from San Francisco 49ers left tackle Trent Williams in Super Bowl LVIII, is undergoing surgery on his torn ACL on Tuesday, according to a source. Omenihu tore his ACL in the victory over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship and won't be available for the Chiefs this Sunday. The 26-year-old pass-rusher has a long recovery ahead of him and most likely will not be ready for the start of the 2024 regular season as a result. With Omenihu out, Felix Anudike-Uzomah should see more playing time against the 49ers in the big game. Omenihu is a notable loss for the Chiefs' pass-rushing group, though, as he had a career-high seven sacks in 11 regular-season games for the Chiefs in 2023.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
