Cedric Mullins Earns Player of the Week for Double-A League
7 years agoBaltimore Orioles outfield prospect Cedric Mullins earned Eastern League Player of the Week honors after hitting .560 over six games last week. Mullins has now upped his OPS with Double-A Bowie to .871 after a somewhat slow start to the season and has 22 extra-base hits and eight stolen bases through 47 games. As a top-10 prospect for the Orioles, who are currently starved for major league outfield talent, keep an eye on Mullins' progress in deeper leagues if he remains hot, as he could be a potential call-up at some point this season.
