Carlos Rodon Wins Fourth Straight Start
Carlos Rodon continued his terrific stretch on Tuesday, tossing seven one-run frames in a 3-2 win over the Cleveland Guardians. Rodon scattered five hits and a walk while striking out eight in this one. The 32-year-old is having one of the best stretches of his career right now, and everything seems to be clicking for him. He sits at 8-3 with a 2.49 ERA, 0.93 WHIP, and 98 strikeouts in 79 ⅔ IP. That's all you can ask for from any pitcher, and certainly from one drafted outside of the top 100 like Rodon was. He is a clear must-start pitcher for the foreseeable future, although one could argue selling high right now would be the shrewd move. His next start should come on Sunday against the Boston Red Sox at home.
