Carlos Correa Exits Early On Thursday
6 months agoMinnesota Twins shortstop Carlos Correa (arm) was forced to exit early during Thursday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Correa took a 94-mph fastball off his right arm which forced him to exit the contest. The assumption is that the 29-year-old will undergo further testing to determine the severity of the injury. Kyle Farmer shifted over to shortstop after Correa was forced to leave. He could see additional playing time or Brooks Lee might receive a call-up if Correa does miss an extended period of time. UPDATE: Correa doesn't have a fracture in his wrist after undergoing an X-ray and he's considered day-to-day with a right-wrist contusion.
