The Arizona Cardinals re-signed linebacker Tanner Vallejo to a two-year, $4.1 million deal on Wednesday, according to a source. The core special-teamer will also continue to have a role as a linebacker in defensive coordinator Vance Joseph's scheme. The 26-year-old played in all 16 games for the Cardinals last year and recorded 16 total tackles, two QB hits and one sack. He added another 15 tackles on special teams. The Cardinals also cut cornerback Robert Alford on Wednesday after he signed a three-year deal in February of 2019. The 32-year-old spent each of the last two seasons on Injured Reserve after suffering back-to-back injuries in training camp. Alford was a second-round pick by the Falcons in 2013, and he spent six seasons in Atlanta before heading to Arizona.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
