4 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton (abdomen), who is officially questionable for Thursday night against the Rams, is fine and will start. Newton was limited in practice on Tuesday and Wednesday, but he was never in any real danger of missing this week's game. The former MVP had the same practice routine last week before starting in Week 13 against the Chargers. The Rams have allowed the fewest fantasy points per game to signal-callers, so Newton will need to find the end zone at least once with his legs in order to reward his fantasy managers. However, the Rams have allowed only three rushing touchdowns to QBs all season, and Newton failed to even top 100 passing yards in the last two games. Newton is a fade in DFS and is a low-ceiling QB2 in single-year leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
