C.J. Cron With A Homer Friday Versus The Mariners
7 years agoTampa Bay Rays first baseman C.J. Cron touched up former teammate Alex Colome on Friday versus Seattle. Cron would come up with a batter on and hit a two-run shot. It was his 14th home run of the season. Cron's 14 home runs and 35 RBI on the season put him well ahead of a pace to break his career high of 16 long balls. He is currently batting .257, which is much better than many late-round power options. Also worth noting is that he accumulated most of his 2017 stats and fantasy value in the second half of last season. He is not a shallow league standout, but he definitely has value in deeper leagues.
