St. Louis Cardinals closer Bud Norris recorded a save on Wednesday, pitching 1 2/3 innings, striking out two. Norris did not allow any base runners of his own, but he did inherit three from the awful Greg Holland, allowing one to score. In a game that Norris likely thought he'd get to take off (his team was winning 7-3 heading into the eighth inning), he was able to come in and quickly clean up the mess Holland had made.
