Buccaneers Could Discuss Extension With Tom Brady
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht said that the team could approach quarterback Tom Brady about a contract extension as he heads into the final year of his two-year deal with the team. Like Licht said, the 43-year-old GOAT didn't appear to slow down at all in 2020 on his way to winning his seventh Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl LV over the Kansas City Chiefs. Brady is defying all expectations as he ventures into uncharted territory in terms of playing into his 40s, and it looks like he might play up until he's 45 at this point. While Father Time will get to him eventually, Brady remains healthy and productive for a Tampa Bay team with plenty of offensive weapons, so he'll at least be a midrange QB1 heading into the 2021 season.
