Kansas City Royals prospect outfielder Bubba Starling is off to the disabled list once again. Once considered one of the team’s top prospects, Starling has become a specter what could have been. After a combined 22 home runs and 39 stolen bases in Single-A in 2013 and 2014, Starling was promoted to the upper minor leagues and was either terrible or hurt ever since. Starling produced seven home runs and five stolen bases last season at Triple-A, but he also hit just .248 and only tallied 278 at-bats. While still officially considered a prospect, Starling shouldn’t be of any interest until he shows he can stay healthy and productive for an extended period of time.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
