Bryce Miller Battles Through Back Injury On Tuesday
Bryce Miller (back) said that his back "locked up" on him before his outing on Tuesday against the division-rival Los Angeles Angels to the point where he opted not to sit down between innings and make it worse. In addition to his back injury, Miller dealt with arm soreness earlier in April. "One thing after another that hasn't been major, but just been nagging," Miller said. The 26-year-old was still able to work five scoreless innings in the win over the Halos on Tuesday for his second win of the season, although he walked a season-high five batters and struck out six. Miller will remain a must-start in fantasy in his next scheduled outing next Monday against the division-rival Athletics, but his health will be worth watching closely. In his first six starts in 2025, Miller has gone 2-3 with a 3.52 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 31:19 K:BB in 30 2/3 innings pitched.
