Bryan Reynolds Back in Monday's Lineup
Bryan Reynolds (undisclosed) is back in right field and is hitting third in the batting order in Monday's series opener in the desert against the Arizona Diamondbacks and right-hander Ryne Nelson. General manager Ben Cherington said that Reynolds was held out of Sunday's game due to "a little tightness in the trunk," but the 30-year-old outfielder will return to the field a day later. Reynolds does have a decent 27 RBI on the season, but otherwise he's been a disappointment for fantasy managers with a .212/.282/.335 slash line, .617 OPS, six home runs and three steals in 203 at-bats. He's in the midst of a three-game hitting streak but has also gone just 9-for-49 (.184) with a homer, two doubles, eight RBI, four runs scored, six walks and 14 K's in 13 games since May 10. Reynolds has gone hitless in just two career at-bats against Nelson.
