The Cleveland Browns will not extend a tender offer to impending restricted free-agent linebacker/special-teamer Tae Davis, according to a source. Davis will become an unrestricted free agent when the new league year kicks off next Wednesday, March 17. The 24-year-old began his career as an undrafted free agent out of Chattanooga in 2018 and was signed by the New York Giants. He was waived midway through the 2019 season and was claimed by Cleveland, where he's been ever since. Davis played 51 percent of the team's special teams snaps last season and appeared in 13 games. In 40 career NFL games, Davis has 52 total tackles, a pair of passes defensed and two sacks. The Browns could decide to bring him back at a lesser cost.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
