Browns Sign Shelby Harris
1 year agoThe Cleveland Browns signed veteran free-agent defensive tackle Shelby Harris to an undisclosed deal on Wednesday after he visited with the team on July 31. Harris is a solid veteran presence that should pair nicely with Dalvin Tomlinson on the interior of Cleveland's defensive line this year. The former seventh-round pick of the Las Vegas Raiders in 2014 out of Illinois State has played in 98 games (64 starts) for the Raiders, Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks in his eight seasons in the NFL. He's started every game he's appeared in over the last four years, but he's likely to compete with Jordan Elliott for the Browns. In 15 starts in 2022 for Seattle, Harris had 44 tackles (24 solo), two sacks, five tackles for loss, six QB hits and four passes defensed.
