The Cleveland Browns signed free-agent defensive tackle Quinton Jefferson (groin) to an undisclosed one-year deal on Thursday, according to a league source. Jefferson started 14 games for the New York Jets in 2023 and had 34 tackles (13 solo), a career-high six sacks, 13 QB hits, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. He eventually needed surgery on his groin, though. The 30-year-old veteran interior defensive lineman will be on his fifth different team in the last five seasons after playing on one-year deals each of the last five seasons with the Bills, Raiders, Seahawks and Jets the last four years. Jefferson is not on the IDP fantasy radar at all, but he'll provide veteran depth on the interior of Cleveland's defensive line in 2024.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
