Broncos Defense Records Three Interceptions Against Cardinals
2 years agoThe Denver Broncos defense had a solid showing for fantasy managers in the 24-15 Week 15 victory over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. They came into the week as an intriguing streaming unit because of the fact that they were facing backup quarterback Colt McCoy. The veteran backup suffered a concussion in this game, forcing third-stringer Trace McSorley into action. The Broncos D finished with three interceptions (two from All-Pro safety Justin Simmons) and sacked both Cardinals QBs three times for six yards. They also limited the Cardinals offense to 240 total yards of offense (167 passing, 73 rushing) in just their fourth win of the 2022 season. The Broncos defense/special teams unit should be on the streaming radar yet again in Week 16 against the Baker Mayfield-led Los Angeles Rams offense and a team that is playing out the string as well.
