Broncos Defense In A Bad Spot In Week 13
4 years agoThe Denver Broncos Defense surprisingly ranks 10th in the NFL through 12 weeks of the 2020 season, but they just placed cornerback Bryce Callahan on Injured Reserve and have been extremely vulnerable on the ground in recent weeks. Going up against the No. 1 overall offense (first in passing, 19th rushing) and dynamic Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will certainly give them problems on Sunday night. Overall, Denver's D ranks 24th in fantasy points and they've allowed a league-high 158 rushing yards per game in the last five contests. They allowed a season-high 43 points to KC back in Week 7, although Mahomes only threw for a season-low 200 yards and one touchdown, but the game was played in the snow. Expect Mahomes and the Chiefs to put up points at will again in this game, making the Broncos defense one to avoid at all costs.
