Brendan Steele entered this week's Safeway Open in search of a three-peat win at Silverado Resort & Spa. The two-time defending champion came out swinging by firing an opening-round 67, but failed to break 70 in any of his other rounds on the way to a disappointing T53 finish. Steele struggled over the latter part of 2018 and continued the concerning pattern of being excellent off the tee but horrible in every other facet of the game at the Safeway. Steele is in the field for the upcoming CIMB Classic, but remains a risky DFS option until he shows some short game improvement. --Joe Nicely - RotoBaller
