Brendan Allen Hoping To Get Into Title Contention
2 years agoLooking for his fourth straight win, Louisiana native Brendan Allen (20-5) takes to the co-main event of Saturday's card in hopes of planting himself in future title contention. After a loss to Chris Curtis, Allen has won three straight, including an impressive first-round submission over Krzysztof Jotko in October of last year. Also a dangerous finisher, 16 of his 20 career wins have come by finish, with 11 of them coming via submission. His opponent, Andre Muniz, has earned 15 submissions in his 23 career wins. This matchup could come down to who displays the better standup game. DraftKings sees Allen as the underdog heading into this one with a salary of $7,100. Throughout his UFC career (10 bouts), he is averaging 80.8 fantasy points per contest.
