Braxton Garrett Fans 10 In Emergency Start

Miami Marlins starting pitcher Braxton Garrett was splendid on Saturday, taking the win against the Padres. The 23-year-old got called up from Jacksonville for this one, replacing Trevor Rogers (back), who found a spot on the 10-day injured list. Overall, Braxton worked his way through seven innings before calling it a day, allowing two runs but made up for it by fanning 10 batters. The lefty has appeared in four games for the big club this season, currently sitting on a 1-1 record and a hideous 5.17 ERA. He is worth a spot on the radar, especially if he remains in the majors and continues to pitch well.
