Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel confirmed on Wednesday that safety Brandon Jones (knee) suffered a season-ending torn ACL in the Week 7 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. It's a significant blow for a young versatile playmaker who was having a strong season in his third year in the league. The 24-year-old was entering Week 8 tied for 17th in overall fantasy points among defensive backs in IDP leagues. Jones will end his season with 49 tackles (26 solo), two sacks, three passes defensed and one forced fumble in seven games played. Miami's secondary will be missing a big-time playmaker for the rest of the 2022 season. Eric Rowe will start at strong safety this weekend against the Detroit Lions.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
