Brandon Johnson Scores Two Touchdowns Against Commanders
1 year agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Johnson caught two of his three targets for 66 yards and two touchdowns -- one was a successful desperation Hail Mary with time expiring in regulation -- in the team's 35-33 loss to the Washington Commanders in Week 2 on Sunday at home. Most of you are wondering exactly who Johnson is. The 25-year-old second-year pass-catcher also caught two passes in the season opener, but they went for 31 yards and he didn't find the end zone. Along with rookie Marvin Mims Jr., Johnson helped quarterback Russell Wilson put up the best numbers through the air in his Broncos tenure deep down the field, but it wasn't enough for the victory. Fantasy managers shouldn't take the bait and consider Johnson to suddenly be on the radar. Both he and Mims are going to need more targets to become weekly lineup considerations, even in deeper leagues.
