6 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Brad Keller has been suspended five games for throwing at White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson and inciting a benches-clearing incident on Wednesday, according to sources familiar with the situation. Keller didn't take kindly to Anderson's dramatic bat flip after a home run and promptly plunked him his next time up. The right-hander is 2-1 with a 2.64 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 26 strikeouts in 30 2/3 innings his first five starts of 2019. He could end up missing his next turn through the rotation unless he appeals the suspension from the league.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
