The Boston Bruins selected Czech forward Jakub Lauko with the 77th overall draft pick on Saturday in Dallas. Lauko, an electric skater, played for Piráti Chomutov in Czech's Extraliga last season, recording nine points (three goals, six assists) in 42 games. The 6-foot, 179-pounder can play at center or left wing and has a unique ability to beat defenders off the rush and use his heavy shot. Lauko appears to play with an edge to his game as well and is not afraid to agitate his opponent. However, the versatile 18-year-old is considered a work in progress and will need a few years to continue to develop his game at both ends of the ice before getting a look at cracking the Bruins NHL roster.--Chase Davis - RotoBallerRead More News
