1 year agoWashington Commanders first-round rookie cornerback Emmanuel Forbes will be a starting outside corner opposite Kendall Fuller in 2023. Benjamin St-Juste becomes an option for the slot after he opened the year there in 2022 before William Jackson's struggles forced him to move outside. St-Juste now feels comfortable in either spot, and his size gives coaches a matchup plan against big receivers and tight ends. However, second-round rookie safety Quan Martin was drafted specifically for the slot role, and he has "incredible flexibility" because of his ability to play closer to the line of scrimmage. Washington could use plenty of three-safety looks in 2023 like they did each of the past two seasons.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
