Bengals Willing To Facilitate Andy Dalton Trade
5 years agoThe Cincinnati Bengals are willing to work with quarterback Andy Dalton in order to trade him this offseason, according to sources. Dalton has a franchise-record 204 career passing touchdowns for the team. The Bengals hold Dalton in high regard for what he's done for the organization, which is why they're willing to work with him to facilitate a trade. Cincy has the No. 1 overall pick in the draft and are expected to take LSU quarterback Joe Burrow. The 32-year-old Dalton was benched in 2019 but finished out the season under center, completing only 59.5 percent of his passes for 3,494 yards, 16 touchdowns and 14 interceptions in 13 games. There are plenty of teams looking for a starting signal-caller, but Dalton would most likely be just a midrange QB2 if he's starting elsewhere in 2020.
