3 years agoLos Angeles Rams wide receiver Ben Skowronek (back) has been ruled out for the Week 12 game against the Green Bay Packers. Skowronek was in line for more work in the team's last game in Week 10 with Robert Woods (knee) out for the year, but the 24-year-old caught just one of his five targets for eight yards. His absence on Sunday against the Packers gives more hope that Odell Beckham Jr. will have an elevated role as possibly the No. 2 wideout behind Cooper Kupp in a game that could feature plenty of passing and points. Second-year wideout Van Jefferson will remain involved in the passing attack, but OBJ is expected to have a much bigger role in his second game with the team coming off the bye week.
